BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Two Western Washington University players, Breanna Carmichael (So., Tacoma/Bellarmine Prep) and Kaitlin Parker (Jr., Burlington/Marysville-Pilchuck), have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association/NCAA Division II West Region All-Star team.

Carmichael and Parker tied for fifth place individually at the NCAA II West Regional, helping the Vikings finish second and earn a trip to the national tournament taking place Tuesday through Friday.

Parker leads Western with a 78.3 scoring average. She has had four top five finishes in eight tournaments this season.

Carmichael has an 80.3 scoring average with two top 10 finishes in 10 tournaments.

Rounding out the regional all-star team were Stephanie Bird from Northeastern State OK, Carla Cooper from Tarleton State TX, Jessica McKay from Grand Canyon AZ and Shraddhanjali Singh from Tarleton State.
