In his 12th season as head men's golf coach at WWU in 2025-26, also his 6th season leading the women's program ... added title as WWU Director of Golf in November 2018 ... Won GNAC Men's Co-Coach of the Year in 2025 with a Runner-up finish for the GNAC Title and placing 14th at the West/south central Super regional. The Viking Women also were Runner-ups at the GNAC Golf Championship but had a golfer (Lauren Lee) place 4th at Nationals ... Won GNAC Mens Golf Coach of the Year award in 2024 as the Vikings captured the GNAC Title ... swept the GNAC Coach of the Year awards in 2021-22 for both men and women, as the Vikings won both GNAC Championship trophies ... has directed the men's team to regional berths in each of first 10 seasons as well as a trip to the 2017 and 2019 NCAA II National Championships, where WWU both placed 16th (no NCAA Championships in 2019-20) ... back-to-back women's team titles and Coach of the Year awards in 2020-21 and 2021-22 ... guided WWU to consecutive GNAC men's conference championships in 2015-16, 2016-17 and winning first place in 2018-19 ... Vikings placed 2nd at GNAC Championships in 2017-18 with sophomore Ethan Casto winning individual medalist honors ... Earned back-to-back GNAC Coach of the Year honors, named the 2016-17 GNAC Men's Coach of the Year and the 2015-16 GNAC Men's Coach of the Year after leading the Vikings to the conference championship with a tournament record-tying score of 15-under-par 837 ... Was Vikings' assistant women's golf coach previous two seasons ... In his fifth year as the Director of Instruction and Player Development at Bellingham Golf & Country Club ... Spent previous five years as Director of Instruction at Lake Padden Golf School in Bellingham ... Also was professional assistant at Semiahmoo Golf Resort in Blaine for four years and Homestead Golf and Country Club in Lynden for one year ... Played collegiately for the Vikings from 2002-2005 ... Third-team Golf Coaches Association of America All-American as junior at WWU and received honorable mention All-America honors as senior ... Two-time GCAA West Region All-Star ... Helped Vikings to three NCAA Division II national tournament appearances, with WWU placing 9th in 2004 and 2005 and 11th in 2003 ... Tied for 20th in medalist play at nationals in 2005, tied for 24th in 2003 and tied for 85th in 2004 ... Obtained bachelor's degree in general studies at WWU in 2007 ... He and wife, Jessie (formerly Annis) have two children, daughter Farah and son Deacon.
