Former Western Washington University standout kicker/punter Michael Koenen makes his professional debut tonight when the Atlanta Falcons play host to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football at Atlanta. The game will be televised at 6 p.m. on KOMO-4.

Koenen, an undrafted free agent, won the punting/kickoff job with the Falcons during training camp and is the second Western player to play in the NFL - Erik Totten played one game in 2002 with Pittsburgh.

Koenen, a Ferndale graduate, has several kicking and punting records at Western.
