SEATTLE, Wash. - Comcast is airing the fourth annual Wells Fargo Battle in Seattle for the Cascade Cup football match-up between the Western Washington Vikings and the Central Washington Wildcats ON DEMAND. Western and Central, both members of the North Central Conference, battled it out in front of 11,153 fans last Saturday at Qwest Field.
Former Seattle Seahawk player Sam Adkins joined Comcast Local Edition host Tony Ventrella and former Kansas City Chief Lake Dawson to provide the play-by-play action. Anna Smith, a member of the Sea Gals, handled the sideline interviews.
Central won by a score of 42-28 in a game that saw two lead changes in the third quarter.
The game will be available ON DEMAND Saturday and runs through the end of the year.
Comcast's ON DEMAND service offers a growing library of more than 7,500 programs per month-- available any time customers want to watch them, with the ability to fast forward, rewind, and pause selections. Approximately 95 percent ON DEMAND programs are available at no additional charge for Comcast Digital Cable customers based on their service levels.
