Milbrandt (Sr., Longview, WA/Mark Morris) defended his title in the 60m hurdles winning in 8.09 seconds, one-tenth off his school and conference record set at last year's championship. He becomes the second athlete to win back-to-back titles in the 60m hurdles, joining Robert Edwards (CWU) in 2006-07.
McMullin (Jr., Sequim, WA) set a school and meet record with a leap of 12.22m (40' 1.25"). The mark fell just short of the overall GNAC record of 12.40m (40-8 ¾) set by Ashley Potter of Western Oregon in 2012. McMullin's performance Saturday should rank amongst the top 5 in NCAA Division II this season.
Mark Seely (Sr., Spokane, WA/Central Valley) placed 2nd and set a school record with a jump of 14.41m (47' 3.5") in the triple jump.
J.T. Konrad (So., Mead, WA/Mt. Spokane) and Gordie Kordas (Jr., Blaine, WA) placed No. 2 and No. 3 both clearing 4.73m (15' 6.25") for an NCAA II Provisional mark.
Also earning all-conference honors (top 3 in each event) was Brandon Pless (Jr., Sedro Wooley, WA) in the shot put, finishing 3rd with a throw of 15.31m (50' 2.75").
