ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Western Washington University senior Travis Milbrandt bettered his own school and Great Northwest Athletic Conference record in the 110m Hurdles to highlight the performances at the CWU Spike Arlt Invitational Saturday at Tomlinson Stadium.

Milbrandt (Longview, WA/Mark Morris) recorded a PR of 14.19 in his marquee event, besting his own school and conference mark of 14.21 set at the 2015 GNAC Championships. His current time moved him into 12th in the NCAA II standings for the season.

Also earning wins in their events on the men's side were Dylan Brown (1500, 4:05.84) and the 4x400 relay (3:24.04).

On the women's side junior Megan Mortensen (Tacoma, WA/Franklin Pierce) won the discus with a throw of 39.57m.
