The Vikings built a 4-0 lead after four innings but the Wildcats answered with a four-run 5th inning and posted a second four-run frame during the 8th inning to claim the 8-4 win in 8 innings.

Shearyna Labasan led off the bottom of the 1st inning with a double and scored with a one-out double from Makinlee Sellevold to give WWU a lead.
