BILLINGS, Mont. -- After playing three games on Friday, the Western Washington University softball team wok up to a blanket of fresh snow in Billings causing the final game of its series against Montana State Billings to be snowed out.

MSUB defeated the Vikings (11-23, 5-10 GNAC) in all three games of Friday's doubleheader. Saturday's game has the potential to be rescheduled later in the month of April.

After playing 13 consecutive games away from Bellingham, Western returns home to host Central Washington (Saturday) and Saint Martin's (Sunday) next weekend at Viking Field. Both doubleheaders begin at noon.

Saturday will be the annual annual Strike Out Cancer games, with this year's charity game partnering with the WWU Student Athlete Advisory Committee to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which aims to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness, cancer being one of them.

Sunday vs. Saint Martin's will be Senior Day, with Carlie Richards and Morgan VanRiper honored in a special pregame ceremony as they play their last home games at Viking Field.
