BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The 2019-20 Western Washington University Department of Athletics will virtually hold the annual
WWBlue Awards on Wednesday at 7 pm on YouTube.
Normally a student-athlete BBQ held on the Old Main Lawn on the WWU campus in Bellingham, the awards show has moved to a digital format due to classes moving online for the spring quarter.
The 45-minute awards show is set to start at 7 pm with the link available at
WWUVikings.com/WWBlue. In addition to watching on a computer, phone or tablet via the YouTube app, the show is also available on most TV's that feature the YouTube app by searching for WWU Athletics.
Awards for the 2019-20 Male and Female Scholar Athlete and Athletes of the Year will be announced, along with the 12 All-America award winners being recognized.
In addition to recognized the award winners, a senior salute will honor the senior student-athletes from the 2019-20 season and messages from WWU coaches and staff members show their support for the student-athletes.
The format of the show is the following:

- WWBlue Award Winners (Male and Female Scholar Athlete, Male and Female co-Athletes of the Year)

The awards show video was taped and produced over the last three weeks by the WWU Athletic Communications Department, and will debut at 7 pm. It will also be available on-demand following the conclusion of the premiere on the
WWU Athletics YouTube page.
