A host of current and former members of the Western Washington University Men's Golf program are teeing it up at the
94th Washington Men's Amateur that will be held August 11-13 (Tuesday-Thursday) at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place.
Seven current Vikings and one incoming freshman highlight the group of WWU golfers in the 120-player field that will compete in the 54-hole championship at the site of the 2015 U.S. Open just outside of Tacoma. Reigning All-American and 2019-20 GNAC Player of the Year
Ethan Casto is part of Monday's final pairing teeing off at 2 pm. Five former Vikings are also competing in the championship that will feature 18 holes played in a stroke-play format.Â
Additionally, former Viking and Bellingham native Cody Roth will play in the same tournament as his father, Craig. The father-son duo won their fifth Washington Parent-Child Championship last month.Â
