th-place finish by junior
Devin Andrews, the Western Washington University men's golf team moved up one spot on the leaderboard to tie for 6
th place at the 13-team Mustang Intercollegiate with play wrapping up Tuesday at Palm Valley Golf Club.
The Vikings carded a team round of even-par 288 on Tuesday, to jump one spot on the leaderboard tying for 6

th-best in the field. Overall the Vikings finished at 10-over-par 874 with rounds of 287 (-1), 299 (+11) and 288 (E).
"All-in-all today was a good day on the course – a little up and down at times, but a lot of positives to take away," said WWU Director of Golf
Luke Bennett. "We have some fine-tuning to take care of, but looking forward to the GNAC Championships and the opportunity to compete for a conference title."
Nationally-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo fired a 9-under-par 279 in the final round to take the team title with a 12-stroke victory over UT-Permian Basin.
Andrews turned in a final round score of 1-over-par 73 to finish the 54-hole tournament at even-par 216. The junior team captain rode the momentum of his opening-round 4-under-par 68 to record one of his best finishes as a Viking.
"It was a very solid tournament for Devin," said Bennett. "It was well deserved. He stayed patient all week and got great results."
Sophomore
Jordan Lee led the Vikings in the final round with a bogey-free 3-under-par 69 to move up 22 spots on the leaderboard finishing tied for 23
rd at 3-over-par 219 (75-75-69).
"Jordan was solid today and very fun to watch a bogey-free 69," added Bennett. "He had a few clutch up-and-downs and took advantage of a few holes where he knew he could score. Great to see him put up that number heading into the GNAC Championships."
Junior
Brody Bonfilio tallied consistent rounds of 71-74-73 to finish in 22
nd place at 2-over-par 218. Throughout the two-day tournament Bonfilio led the team with 12 birdies, tying for 9
th among all players in the field.
"Brody showed his fight once again after getting off to a tough start," said Bennett. "He played his final nine holes at 3-under par with four birdies. A really great finish for him and really proud of how he battled today."
Three-time reigning GNAC Golfer of the Week
Aidan Thain and freshman
Kyle Cooley tied for 43
rd place at 8-over-par 224 after both players turned in a final round score of 1-over-par 73.
