BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University Track & Field team recorded 18 event wins, 12 program top 10 marks and four NCAA provisional qualifying marks during competition Saturday at the 39th Annual Ralph Vernacchia Track & Field Meet at Civic Stadium.

Western's men notched 13 event victories to dominate the team scoring with 279 points, while the WWU women tallied five event wins and scored 200 points to edge out Central Washington.

"It was a good day to host a home meet and what a way to send our seniors out," said WWU Track & Field Head Coach Pee Wee Halsell.
