The Western Washington University Cheerleading program has announced its roster for the 2022-23 athletic seasons, with fifth-year head coach
Jenny Johnson selecting 17 members to the squad.

Tryouts were in-person and spread out over two weekends at Carver Gym in April. In the two previous years tryouts were held virtually due to COVID-19.

The squad features 10 returning members from 2021 and seven new additions to the team. The roster includes team captain senior
Amirah Casey and returning team captain senior
Ethan Huynh.

Additional team leadership positions announced were
Amber Olsen (Stunt lead),
Hannah Harlin (Dance Lead) and
Kianna Miller (Assistant Captain).

The seven newcomers include
