BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Western Washington University cheer program will hold a winter clinic on Sunday, February 12 from 10 am - 2 pm in Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus.
The clinic is open to everyone ages 14 and up, with registration available at
wwuvikings.com/Cheer_Clinic (cost of $30).
The intent of the camp is to learn the WWU Cheer style of dance, cheer, and stunting. You do not have to be trying out to attend this clinic. If you are planning on trying out, it is highly recommended that you attend. No experience necessary.
All the information for the camp, including attire suggestions and guidance, is listed in teh camp registration link. Absolutely no jewelry is allowed.
Events during the camp will feature the following:
- Tumbling Class (If you do not have tumbling no worries, but you will be expected to tumble at tryouts and upon making the team so give it your best shot!)
- Chant Class
- Dance Class
- Stunt Class
- Jump Class
