BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University women's soccer team had six players selected to the Academic All-District Women's Soccer team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
In addition to the six Academic All-District selections WWU lead all Great Northwest Athletic Conference programs with 16 All-GNAC academic awards.
2024 Academic All-District:
- Sophie Bearden Croft (F, Sr., Portland, OR)
- Myka Carr (F, Sr., Newcastle, WA)
- Asia Hardin (D, Jr., West Linn, OR)
- Jane Hmura (D, So., Portland, OR)
- Morgan Manalili (M, Jr., Shoreline, WA)
- Claire Potter (M, Jr., Pasco, WA)
Bearden Croft became a three-time Academic All-District selection, with Hardin, Manalili and Potter earning their second award in as many seasons.
The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, requiring a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 with sophomore standing and above. Eligible student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games played or have started in at least 66 percent of total matches.
