LANGLEY, B.C. – The Western Washington University women's soccer team continued its preseason schedule Tuesday playing Trinity Western University to a scoreless draw Tuesday evening at Chase Office Field.
Playing its second of three preseason contests, the Vikings held the Spartans off the scoreboard while making five saves. Starting goalkeeper
Abigail Trengove made three saves in her 45 minutes of action in the first half, with senior
Grace Wales adding one save in the second half.
The Vikings had their best scoring chance in the 62n minute when junior midfielder
Claire Potter fired a shot from the center of the box that was saved by a diving stop from TWU goalkeeper Yasmine Pahal.
TWU held an 11-4 advantage in shots and 5-1 edge in shots on target in the non-counting exhibition game.

Asia Hardin played 80 of the 90 minutes on the back line while also being credited with a team save early in the first half.
WWU played 22 total players in the game just a week after reporting for the start of fall camp last Monday. TWU, the 2023 U SPORTS national runner-up, played in its seventh exhibition contest, which included a 3-3 tie against Oregon State and a 3-0 victory over Seattle Pacific.
