BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University Track & Field program looks to open the 2025 portion of the indoor schedule like they left off 2024 competing this weekend at the UW Preview and Mile City in Seattle.

WWU had an outstanding indoor season opener on December 14 at the Spokane Invitational, setting five school records and making 23 entries in the program top 10 record book. The Vikings season-opening performances also resulted five NCAA II provisional qualifying marks.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

Dating back to the 2022 calendar year, the WWU men have won eight of nine possible titles in cross country, indoor and outdoor, while the women have combined for six of nine titles. The Western track & field and cross country program has a current string of 10 consecutive team titles across men's and women's dating back to the 2023 outdoor championships.

UP NEXT FOR THE VIKS
The Vikings return to action next week with a group of student-athletes traveling to Moscow, Idaho for the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open inside the Kibbie Dome on the University of Idaho campus. The complete indoor schedule is available online at WWUVikings.com.
