BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University women's cross country team had eight student-athletes earn a spot on the 2025 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference team presented by Barnes & Noble College.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the course during the 2025 campaign. First-year freshman and redshirt freshman are not eligible for the academic all-conference team.
Seniors Laura Halsell, Alanna Parker and Emmy Kroontje highlighted the eight selections as three-time honorees to the all-academic team. The trio was among 12 three-time selections and 60 overall academic all-star award winners.
