WWU carded a team score of 10-under-par 566 in the first 36 holes of the 54-hole tournament at Corica Park South to sit in 3rd place out of 17 teams. This marks the opening of the spring season for the Viking men that are ranked No. 10 in the West Region.

The Vikings were situated at the top of the leaderboard throughout the long day of golf in the Bay Area, heading into the final round in the top five of a stacked tournament field.
