BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University senior Emma Andrewjeski-Ramirez has been selected as the GNAC Player of the Week for competition held April 14-20.

Andrewjeski-Ramirez (Kahlotus, WA) helped lead the Vikings to a 4-game road sweep over Central Washington to move WWU to within one game of clinching the 2025 GNAC regular-season title.

The senior had a banner weekend at the plate batting .615 (8-for-13) with four runs scored, three doubles, one grand slam and 10 RBI. Andrewjeski-Ramirez tied her single-game career-high with five RBI in a 3-for-3 performance in game two of the series in Ellensburg.

For the season Andrewjeski-Ramirez is batting .365 (42-for-115) with 18 extra-base hits (2B-11, 3B-1, HR-6) and leads the Vikings with 44 RBI. In 102 games at WWU over the last two seasons, Andrewjeski-Ramirez has hit 24 home runs (2nd in WWU history) and is just the eighth player in program history to reach the 100-RBI milestone.

This marks the third career GNAC Pitcher of the Week award for Andrewjeski-Ramirez and second this season. WWU has nine Player/Pitcher of the Week awards this season to set the single-season program record breaking the eight selections in 2011 and 2007.
