Vikings Place Pair on Women's Golf All-GNAC Team

Lauren F. Lee and Emma Worgum earn All-GNAC honors

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University women's golf team had a pair of players earn All-GNAC honors with Lauren F. Lee a first-team selection and Emma Worgum earning second-team accolades.
 
The GNAC runners-up were led by Lee, who is third in the conference with a 75.4 scoring average. Playing in all nine events during the 2024-25 season, Lee recorded six top-10 finishes and a pair of tournaments in the top five. The 2023-24 GNAC Newcomer of the Year had three rounds of par-or-better and tied for 3rd place at the GNAC Championships. She will represent the Vikings at the NCAA II West Regional in Amarillo, Texas playing as an individual.
 
Worgum earned her third All-GNAC honor as a second-team pick after earning first-team honors as a freshman and sophomore. She finished the season with a scoring average of 79.1 (+7 to par) and tied for 6th place at the GNAC Championships.
 
Dana Smith of Simon Fraser earned the GNAC Player of the Year honor and Krysta Schaus of SFU was selected as the GNAC Coach of the Year. Zoe Garcia of Seattle Pacific claimed the Newcomer of the Year award and Ella Tannenberger of Montana State Billings was selected as the Freshman of the Year.
