Ahead of Saturday's Latine Heritage Celebration match, Western Washington men's soccer players Edgar Serrano and Alex Martinez sat down to talk about their soccer journey and what their heritage means to them.

The two shared how family, a cornerstone of Latine culture, has shaped their journeys and what it means to them to celebrate their heritage at Western. The conversation turned to the bond that has defined this year's squad. Serrano and Martinez spoke about the brotherhood on and off the pitch and how those relationships have fueled the team's success this season.
