BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University men's golf team had three student-athletes earn a spot on the 2025-26 GNAC All-Academic Team presented by Barnes & Noble College.
Senior captain Peter Dionne-Yahr led the selections as a three-time GNAC Academic All-Star, becoming the sixth player in program history to earn three conference academic awards. Dionne-Yahr is nearing his degree in management at WWU with a GPA of 3.64.
Junior Christopher Zamani (3.39, Environmental Studies/Sports Psychology) became a two-time award winner and sophomore Jack Kendrick (3.91, Finance) earned the award in his first year eligible.
WWU's three selections were among 16 men's golf student-athletes earning a spot on the all-academic team for the 2025-26 season.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the course during the 2025 campaign. First-year freshman, redshirt freshman and first-year transfers are not eligible for the academic all-conference team.
