POSITION TITLE: Football Student Manager

DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Western Washington University Football Student Manager you will be faced with many duties and responsibilities ranging from practice set-up, filming practice, tape dubbing, towel hand-out, washing practice gear and game uniforms, and loading/unloading equipment for game days. You must be able to handle tasks quickly and efficiently and be flexible. The general duties required by a student manager include:

1. Keep accurate records of equipment issued and returned on a daily basis in the computer.
2. Know how to use the heavy duty industrialized washing and drying machines, computer, etc.
3. Know where all everyday equipment is stored in equipment room and in the bunker.
4. Help set up and take down practice on the field, and set up drills.
5. Film practice, and help with film cut ups for practice and games.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a current Western Washington University student.

APPOINTMENT: August 12, 2004 through December 10, 2004

PAY: In-state tuition for fall quarter
