The Western Washington University athletic department, in conjunction with the Official College Sports Network (OCSN), announces the launching of the Vikings' improved official website, www.wwuvikings.com.
In addition to up-to-date media releases on Western athletic events, www.wwuvikings.com will feature photos, statistics, schedules, results, rosters, player and coach biographies and ticket information for each Western sport. The site will also include interactive features, such as fan polls. Sporting a crisp and easy-to-navigate design, www.wwuvikings.com, is the only official website of Western athletics.
"We're excited to team with OCSN on our official athletics website," said Steve Brummel, Western director of marketing and promotions. "The site gives us a better opportunity to deliver timely news and information to our ever-growing base of Viking fans, friends and alumni."
OCSN general manager Jeff Cravens also commented on the launch of www.wwuvikings.com. "We are excited to partner with Western Washington athletics on its official athletic site," Cravens said. "The power of the internet has become a vital part of every athletic department's marketing, promotional and information efforts, and it is a credit to Western Washington that they are taking full advantage of it."
