BELLINGHAM, Wash. -
The Seattle SuperSonics will hold a community practice Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sam Carver Gymnasium on the Western Washington University campus.
The public is invited and no admission will be charged. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and seating and parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fans can watch the Sonics coaches and players prepare for the upcoming 2003-04 season. The team will run through drills and scrimmage.
There will be raffle prizes including Sonics tickets and autographed memorabilia, with the proceeds benefiting the Sonics & Storm T.E.A.M. Foundation.
Former Blaine High School standout Luke Ridnour, a Seattle first-round draft pick, will make his first appearance in Whatcom County as a Sonic.
