	WWU Athlete of the Year (1960) Earned four letters each in football, track and wrestling for Vikings Had 30-year career as high school physical educator and coach, 19 at Puyallup High Posted 105-9 dual meet record in boys cross country, placing second at state in 1982, third in 1981 and fourth in 1984; and had 81-22 dual meet record in girls cross country Posted 77 dual meet victories in track, 50 at Puyallup and 27 at Sehome High Western Washington Wrestling Association Official of the Year in 1980 and Puget Sound Official of the Year in 1982 Helped create Washington State Cultural Exchange Program
