TIMING AND RESULTS

Professional timing and results services will be provided by PNTFO.  Follow live results at live.pntfo.com. . Final results will be posted on TFRRS.org shortly after the conclusion of the meet.

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE

This invitational is open only to invited teams at this time: CWU, Trinity Western, UBC, and WWU.  If your team wishes to be considered for an invitation, feel free to speak with us.    A limited number of unattached individuals affiliated with the invited teams may be included to enhance the quality of the experience.

TEAM SCORING

Team scores will be kept according to NCAA rules using the Alternate Scoring guidelines: 5-3-2-1 for the top 4 individuals regardless of affiliation, and 5-3-2-0 for relays (only one relay per institution may score).

COVID PROTOCOL

We are proud to be able to host the 2022 WWU Track & Field Team Invitational, and with your help, hope to do so safely. The following will be implemented to support a healthy, effective meet:
  • We will be following the NCAA protocol for COVID-19, so everyone must either be vaccinated or follow the NCAA guidelines for testing. If you are not an NCAA institution and have questions about this, let us know and we can sort out what needs to be done.
  • Masks/Face Coverings are not required outdoors.
  • Spectators will be allowed.
ENTRIES & SEEDING
  • Enter through Directathletics.com .  Late entries will NOT be accepted.
  • All entries for the WWU Invitational are due by Tuesday, March 29, by 11:59pm PDT.  Please be sure to remove any scratches before this time.
  • The entry fee will be $250 per men's team and $250 per women's team and should be paid online through Directathletics.com.
  • Entries will be publicly viewable here on DirectAthletics throughout the entry window so you can line up some great competitive opportunities for your athletes.
  • Due to the desire to create high quality competitive opportunities, it is very important that all entries be legitimate and verifiable.   We will only accept TFRRS or other verifiable competition marks as seed marks for any event.  If submitting a converted mark, or mark achieved outside of collegiate participation, please include a link to the result in the “Notes” portion of the entry in DirectAthletics.  This will all be publicly viewable on DirectAthletics, and meet management reserves the right to adjust questionable seed marks.
