College: Redshirt in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track during 2008-09 school year...personal bests of 1:59.5 in 800, 4:21 in 1500, 28:05 in cross country 8K, and 36:30 in cross country 10K ... GNAC academic all-star in cross country in 2011.

High School: Kelso High School graduate...competed in State Cross Country in 2006...personal bests of 51.3 in 400, 1:59.5 in 800, and 4:48 in 1600...team captain...three letters in cross country and four in track.
