Biography

2024 (Sophomore):
  • GNAC All-Academic selection.
  • Appeared in 14 games and started in 9 for a total of 767 minutes played.
  • Part of a Vikings defensive unit that posted a GNAC-best 1.06 goals against average.
  • Scored his first collegiate goal and provided an assist in a 7-2 win over Saint Martin's (10/12).
  • Vikings went 6-2-1 in games in which he started.
  • Recorded four shots, scoring on his first collegiate shot on-goal.

2023 (Redshirt Freshman):
  • Appeared in all 18 games and made 15 starts during debut season for a total of 1,121 minutes played.
  • Key part of Vikings Defense that posted a goals against average of 1.00, second lowest in the GNAC and fifth in West Region.
  • Started in all six Viking shutouts.
  • Provided an assist during 2-0 season-closing win at Montana State Billings (11/11) for first collegiate point.

2022 (Redshirt):
  • Did not appear in a regular-season game utilizing redshirt season.
Prior to WWU: Starred for Shorecrest High School during his prep career ... played at an elite level on the club circuit with Seattle Sounders Academy (2018-21) and Seattle United (2021-22) ... was part of the Top Drawer Soccer Top 150 Class of 2022 ... in  2019 he was selected as the CHI Franciscan Community Hero of the Year and in 2018 was part of the winning team at the Nexen Manchester City Cup ... father played professionally in Ethiopia and was on the Ethiopian National Team.
