Lexi Barcomb transitioned from a four-year career with the Vikings as a standout outfielder to graduate assistant coach beginning in 2025-26. Barcomb will assist the WWU coaching staff during the season as she completes her MBA at Western. She is also a graphic design student assistant for WWU Athletics and has been heavily involved with social media for the softball program during her time at WWU.
During her career with the Vikings from 2022-25, Barcomb appeared in 182 career games, making 134 starts. She was a starting outfielder during the Vikings run to the D2 World Series appearances in 2024 and 2025. She combined to bat .281 (94-for-334) and was 13-for-19 stealing bases. She finished her career ranked in the top 10 in program history in games played.
