Biography
Barnwell joins the Vikings in 2016-17 after transferring from Northern Arizona University.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year qualifier to state swimming championships…holds Seward High School record in 500 freestyle individual, 200 freestyle individual, 200 IM relay and 200 freestyle relay…did not row in high school…member of honor roll all four years at Seward High School.
PERSONAL: Intended major is cultural anthropology…her mother, Mary Lynn, was a standout cross country and track & field student-athlete at Montana State University, a MSU Athletics Hall of Fame member who was a four-time conference champion and twice placed 13th at the NCAA Championships (once in 5,000m and once in 10,000m).
