At UW Magraw worked closely with the back row, which were key parts of Huskies success over Magraw's tenure. As a member of UW's Coaching staff Magraw help the Huskies to 3 NCAA Touranment appearances ... A former standout student-athlete for the Huskies in both indoor and beach volleyball earning four varsity letters from 2012-15 as a defensive specialist. Magraw was a part of the winnigest indoor class in school history going 117-16 (.880) with four consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament. As a member of the UW Beach Volleyball program she was named the 2016 Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year. Magraw Graduated Cum Laude From UW with a degree in communications.
Magraw's collegiate coaching at the University of Portland as an assistant coach for indoor and beach from 2019-21 ... She also coached at the club level with Sudden Impact in Bellevue in 2015 and She was the head varsity and junior varsity coach at The Overlake School from 2017-18 where she was selected as the Emerald City League Coach of the Year.
Magraw has strong ties to WWU with her mother and two grandparents graduating from Western. Her mother, Annette Duvall, was a standout for the women's soccer team in the 1980s, and was inducted into the WWU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1994.
