Nate Paterson serves as Administrative Services Manager for Western Washington University Athletics, where he keeps the Vikings program in peak condition behind the scenes – ensuring student-athletes, coaches, and staff have the operational support they need to compete and succeed. He joined the department in February 2026, stepping into the role well-seasoned, having previously serving in a similar capacity with the Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance team at WWU.

Nate’s connection to Western runs deep – a 2006 alum, he met his wife, Molly, on campus, and the two are now proud parents of their daughter, Iris. A card-carrying, mostly-suffering Seattle sports fan, Nate brings equal parts administrative chops and genuine love of the game to his work with the Vikings.
