BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Western Washington University men's and women's basketball teams make their home debuts tonight, part of a busy day of action on Haggen Court at Sam Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus.
The men's team, which went 1-1 in a tournament in Hawaii last weekend, faces Sonoma State at 7 p.m. in the second game of the Chuck Randall Classic. The opening game has Saint Martin's University of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference facing the Colorado School of Mines (3 p.m.).
The WWU women's team opens its season at 5 p.m. against Northwest University in the nightcap of the Lynda Goodrich Classic. The opening contest has Saint Martin's meeting Grand Canyon at 1 p.m.
