Emma Duff and Anna Schwecke score 17 points to lead WWU

BURNABY, BC – The Western Washington University women's basketball team was defeated 64-60 in its Great Northwest Athletic conference opener at Simon Fraser University Tuesday night in West Gym.

With the game tied 60-60, SFU guard Kendal Sands went to the free throw line after being fouled.
