BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The scheduled Western Washington University men's basketball game against Capilano University on Tuesday has been canceled due to travel delays and winter weather in the region.
 
The game was scheduled to tip-off at 7 pm, but less than 45 minutes prior to the start of the contest, the game was canceled when Capilano notified WWU they would not be able to cross the border due to heavy traffic and wait times at the USA-Canadian border.
 
WWU (5-1) opens Great Northwest Athletic Conference play this weekend with a road game at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC on Saturday (Dec. 3) with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 pm.
