BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University senior guard
Emma Duff has been selected to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-West Region Team.
Duff, a senior from Tumwater, earned second-team honors and was one of four players from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference on the 10-player All-West Region team.
Duff added the All-West Region honor to her First Team All-GNAC award in what has been a banner senior season. Heading into the NCAA Championships, Duff is averaging 15.7 points (6th in GNAC) and 6.6 rebounds per game (8th in GNAC) and her 47 assists, 31 steals and 21 blocks are all team-highs. Duff is shooting 43.7-percent from the field (138-for-316), 34.0-percent from beyond the arc (36-for-106) and 83.5-percent from the free throw line (81-for-97).
In 120 career games, Duff has scored 1,256 points to rank 12th in WWU history, an average of 10.5 points per game.
WWU (20-5) opens the NCAA Division II Championships as the No. 3 seed in the West Regional, taking on No. 6 seed Alaska Anchorage Friday at noon in Hayward, California.
