BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Former Western Washington University women's basketball standout
Emma Duff has signed a professional contract to play for KIA Metropol Baskets in Schwabach, Germany.
Duff, a native of Tumwater and product of Black Hills High School, made the journey in early September to begin her professional career in the Bundesliga Second Division in Germany.

During her five seasons with the Vikings, Duff scored 1,346 points in 126 games for an average of 10.7 points per game. She also grabbed 730 rebounds (5.8/game), had 91 blocked shots, 123 steals and made 147 3-pointers. She finished her career ranked 10th in program history in career points, 11th in total rebounds, 13th with 480 career field goals, 7th with 147 3-pointers made and tied for the all-time lead with 126 games played (100 starts).

Carmen Dolfo. "Emma was a great leader and player in our program for five years and had a really outstanding senior season that ended with a trip to the national championship game. She was a tremendous student-athlete during her time at Western and now she joins the great tradition of several of our players playing professionally overseas."
During her senior season in 2021-22, Duff was a unanimous First Team All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference selection averaging 15.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while helping lead the Vikings to the NCAA Division II National Championship Game. She was selected as a WBCA Honorable Mention All-American and swept the postseason All-Tournament Team awards from the West Regional and Elite Eight. In six NCAA postseason game Duff averaged 15.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
Duff graduated from WWU with a degree in Environmental Science in June 2022.
