BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Tickets for the fast-approaching 2024 GNAC Basketball Championships, hosted by Central Washington University in Ellensburg are available for purchase online at
gnactickets.com.
The WWU Women's Basketball team is the defending GNAC Championships champions winning the tournament title in 2023 in Carver Gym. The Vikings are the No. 2 seed in the 2024 edition of the tournament and open the postseason Friday at noon in the first semifinal against No. 3 Alaska Anchorage or No. 6 Seattle Pacific.
Tournament passes, good for all men's and women's games, are $60 for adults and $40 for students, children and seniors. Individual session prices, which include two games per session, are $15 for adults and $11 for students, children and seniors.
PARKING INFORMATION
Parking will be enforced on the CWU campus from 7:30 am-4:30 pm Thursday and Friday during the GNAC Championships. Daily passes are available for $6 per vehicle in the parking lot in front of Nicholson Pavilion (Q-14), with overflow parking by the psychology building (S-10). There is an electronic stand in the parking lot of Nicholson Arena for fans to purchase daily parking passes, as well as online at the
CWU Parking Site. A detailed parking map of the
CWU campus is available online at CWU.edu. There is also free parking available in lots X-12 and X-22 situated north of Tomlinson Field and the baseball and softball fields.
GNAC CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE
Here is a look at the GNAC Championships schedule with the three-day tournament held March 7-9 inside Nicholson Arena in Ellensburg. WWU will play the winner of the Seattle Pacific vs. Alaska Anchorage game on Thursday in the first semifinal game on Friday (March 8) at noon. More info is available on the championships at

VIKINGS ARE DANCING
WWU advanced to the GNAC Championships as the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament that will be held March 7-9 inside Nicholson Arena in Ellensburg. Western is the defending champion of the event beating Montana State Billings 76-71 in the championship game in Carver Gym marking the first home team – men or women – to win the title on its home court in the 12-year history of the event. The Vikings are 17-8 all-time in the GNAC Championships with three titles, advancing to play in the postseason tournament in 12 of 13 possible seasons (played in nine championship games).
