BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University Women's Basketball Head Coach Carmen Dolfo has announced the addition of five student-athletes to the program for the 2024-25 season.
Dolfo adds a mix of experience and youth to round out the 13-player roster for the upcoming season as the Vikings look to defend their 2023-24 GNAC Tournament title.
The class of newcomers is made up of two guards and three forwards, with three transfers and two players that will make their collegiate debut in 2024-25. All three transfer players enter the program from Division-1 programs, with experience coming out of the West Coast Conference, Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and Big Sky Conference.
All five player additions hail from the Northwest with three players from Washington and two from Oregon.
"It is always great to welcome new players into our family and I feel we got five great additions to our program with this signing class," said Dolfo, who enters her 34th season at the helm of the program in 2024-25. "It's a great mix of talented and veteran transfers, and two exciting freshman players. It's going to be a group I also think will have an immediate impact on our program, both on the court and with leadership roles."
