12/9/2025 6:27:00 PM

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The career accolades for Western Washington University senior forward Morgan Manalili continue to stack up, but the honor as a First Team All-American is one that rises to the top of the pile of her many awards.

Manalili (Shoreline, WA/Shorecrest HS) was selected a First Team All-American by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). The forward was rewarded for her record-breaking season that also earned her GNAC Player of the Year, West Region Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors.

After earning third-team All-America honors as a freshman in 2022 – and again as a sophomore in 2023 by United Soccer Coaches – Manalili became just the fourth player in program history to earn first-team honors on the D2CCA (formerly Daktronics) All-America squad. She is just the ninth player in program history to First Team All-America honors by either the D2CSC or United Soccer Coaches. The USC All-America team will be announced on Thursday.

The four-time All-GNAC and All-West Region player had a fantastic finish to her collegiate career in 2025. Manalili contributed on 25 of the Vikings 48 goals, leading the region and ranking in the top five in the nation in NCAA Division II with 17 goals and among the regional leaders with eight assists. Manalili recorded 42 total points to rank 3rd in WWU single-season history, the most since Western Hall of Famer Annette Duvall had 64 in 1983 and 62 in 1982.

In 89 career games (82 starts) Manalili scored 35 goals (7th in WWU history), contributed 24 assists (t-6th in WWU history) and 94 total points (7th in WWU history). Her 17 goals during the 2025 season tied the GNAC single-season record and the most by a Viking since 1995. An ankle injury kept her out of the GNAC Championship Final and second round of the NCAA Tournament, with the Vikings concluding the season with a 14-1-7 record and winning the GNAC regular-season title with an 11-0-3 mark.

A well-rounded student-athlete Manalili also earned GNAC and CSC All-District academic awards carrying a perfect 4.00 GPA as a Math and Computer Science Major.

Manalili was the only player in the West Region to earn First Team All-America honors and was joined on the All-America team by third-team selection Liberty Ortiz of Cal Poly Pomona.
