BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University will host WECU Night for Saturday's basketball doubleheader in Carver Gym hosting Simon Fraser University in a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference games on WECU Court.
The action begins with the Viking women hosting SFU in a 3 pm game and continues with a 5:30 pm tip-off for the Western men against the Red Leafs.
To celebrate WECU's partnership with WWU Athletics, WECU members and one guest will receive free admission to watch the Vikings take on the Red Leafs. WECU members will need to redeem their free tickets at the WWU Ticket Office (opens at 2 pm) by showing their WECU card.
Free parking is available for all fans in the C Lots and 9G for season ticket holders. Thanks to an ongoing partnership with WECU and The Foundation for WWU & Alumni, all Western students receive free admission to all home games.
General admission and reserved tickets will also be for sale starting at 2 pm at the Carver Gym Box Office or in advance via
WWUVikings.com/Tickets.
Saturday's games highlight the support WECU has given to Western Washington University over the years. WECU has been a tremendous partner with WWU, making an immense impact on the University and the campus community. Since moving back into renovated Carver Gym in 2017, WWU plays all its indoor home athletic events on WECU Court in Carver Gymnasium. WECU has supported scholarships for WWU students through a financial gift that has helped lessen the burden of attending college for students.
