BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University sophomores Trevor White and Aidan Rice earned spots on the 2026 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team presented by Barnes & Noble College.
 
White (Attleboro, MA) carries a 3.53 GPA as a student-athlete while still undeclared on a major. Rice has a 3.25 GPA while showing interest in a business administration degree. The sophomore duo represented the WWU men's basketball on the all-academic team in their first year eligible. The GNAC awarded 36 Academic All-Star awards for the 2025-26 season.
 
On the court, White has appeared in 18 games (11 starts) averaging 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game. Rice has started all 24 games averaging a team-best 18.6 points and 3.8 assists per game.
 
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the court during the 2025-26 campaign. Redshirt freshman are not eligible for the team per GNAC policy.
