BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University senior forward
Olivia Hodges earned a spot on the NCAA Championships West Regional All-Tournament Team.
Hodges averaged 14.0 points and 15.0 rebounds in the Vikings two regional games in Ellensburg, defeating Point Loma 74-60 in the quarterfinal round and falling to eventual regional champion Cal Poly Pomona 57-54 in the semifinal.
The senior recorded a double-double in each game, tallying 13 points and 15 rebounds on 5-for-8 shooting vs. PLNU and had 15 points and 15 rebounds on 5-for-16 shooting vs. CPP.
The All-West Regional team featured five players from the eight-team field, with Cal Poly Pomona's Sydney Nelson earning MVP honors. Mydrea Moore (Cal Poly Pomona), Emma Schaaf (Vanguard) and Capri Sims (Central Washington) joined Hodges as all-tournament selections.
Hodges finished the 2025-26 season averaging 15.8 points and 13.3 rebounds per game, while setting the WWU single-season record with 25 double-doubles. She was a unanimous First Team All-GNAC selection, All-West Region First Team and the GNAC Newcomer of the Year.
The Vikings completed the season with a 25-8 overall record advancing to the West Regional semifinal round entering the NCAA postseason as the No. 2 seed in the West. WWU won the GNAC regular-season title with a 15-3 conference record.
