BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University women's basketball team had three student-athletes earn a spot on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® team selected College Sports Communicators.
These awards recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. A student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 (through the fall quarter) and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or started least 66 percent of the institution's games.
Vikings to earn the honor for the 2025-26 season include junior guards
Demi Dykstra (3.96, Elementary Education),
Joy Haltom (3.60, Multidisciplinary Studies) and
Libby Stump (3.70, Inclusive Education).
WWU had four student-athletes earn All-GNAC Academic honors in 2025-26 with senior forward
Aspen Garrison and senior guard
Anna VanderYacht joining Dykstra and Stump.
