HIGH SCHOOL: Product of Portland's Benson High School ... Second Team Class 5A Portland Interscholastic Hybrid League All-Conference honors during his senior season in 2014 ... was also a standout in track & field during his prep career, breaking the state meet record in the triple jump and placing 2^nd in the long jump and 110m hurdles ... began his collegiate career at Texas Tech where he was a member of the Red Raiders track & field team, placing 7^th in the heptathlon at the 2015 Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships and 9^th in the decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships ... 2014 nominee for the Portland Interscholastic League Hall of Fame Sportsperson of the Year Scholarship Award.
