AJ Albritton

AJ Albritton

AJ Albritton is entering his 4th season as an assistant coach with the WWU Men's Basketball program during 2025-26. He will work with basketball operations as well as assisting with the coaching staff.

Prior to joining WWU, Albritton worked two years in the NBA. Albritton served as a Player Development Coach with the Houston Rockets G-League team, RGV Vipers. The Vipers reached the finals and managed to come as 1st place in the league in his time with the professional organization.

Additionally, he spent four months in the summer of 2019 as a Video/Player Development Assistant with the Houston Rockets.

Prior to that, Albritton worked with Pima Community College men’s basketball program and served as varsity head coach at The Gregory School in Tucson, AZ. In his first year with the Hawks they reached the state championships and Albritton was voted AIA high school Coach of the year in the state of Arizona.

His journey brings him to Bellingham with intentions to share his knowledge with young players and eventually advance within Men’s College Basketball realm.
