Biography

Career: Scored 500 points in 59 games in junior college before joining WWU … scored 439 points in 56 games for the Vikings … twice selected to the GNAC All-Academic team ... three-time NABC Honors Court academic award winner.
 
2022-23 (Senior):
  • Played in all 28 games (started 13) for the Vikings.
  • Averaged 8.0 points, 1.6 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game.
  • Neared double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds (season-high) at Point Loma (11/26)
  • Scored career-high 18 points (7-for-7) against Simon Fraser (2/25)
  • Shot 48-for-57 (84.2-percent) from the free-throw line.
  • Selected to Academic All-District and GNAC All-Academic Teams (3.62 GPA, Chemistry).
  • NABC Honors Court academic award winner.
  • Ranked in the GNAC top 15 in defensive rebounds (13th), and in the GNAC top 30 for rebounding (23rd) and blocked shots (28th)
2021-22 (Junior2):
  • Played in all 28 games, starting in six of them. 
  • Averaged 21 minutes per game and 7.7 points per game. 
  • Added efficient shooting across the board, going .447 from the field, .389 from the three-point line and .750 from the free-throw line.
  • Made the GNAC All-Academic team (3.74, Chemistry).
  • Scored a career high 17 points on 5-8 shooting from the three-point line vs. Humboltd State (11/21). 
  • Recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds vs. Northwest Indian College (12/12).
  • NABC Honors Court academic award winner.
2020-21 (Junior): 
  • NABC Honors Court academic award winner
  • GNAC FAR Award recipient (3.88, Chemistry).
  • Did not play due to season cancelation from COVID-19.
Prior to WWU: Played two seasons at Santiago Canyon College in Southern California prior to transferring to Western ... started all 59 games over two seasons at the junior college averaging 8.5 points, 2.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game, while shooting a combined 49.4% from the field (175-for-354) ... shooting totals included a 49-for-121 mark from 3-point range (40.5%) ... as a sophomore in 2019-20, appeared in 30 games, making 29 starts, to help lead Santiago Canyon to a 28-2 record and a 14-2 league mark to win the Orange Empire Conference title ... the Hawks reached the CCCAA Elite 8 prior to the cancelation of the playoffs ... earned Second Team Orange Empire Conference honors in 2019-20 averaging 8.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game ... connected on 96-of-182 shots from the field for a .527 field goal percentage and was 36-for-81 from 3-point range (44.4%) ... standout student-athlete Holden was also honored as an Academic All-Star selection with a 3.66 GPA ... product of Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills, California.
