SEASIDE, Calif. â€" The Western Washington University Men's Golf team is in 8th place after the first and second rounds of the 2015 Otter Invitational played Monday on the Black Horse course of Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Club.

WWU was tied for 3rd after the first 18 holes at 2-over-par 290, but slipped to 8th in the afternoon round with a 15-over 303.
"We had a really nice first 18 holes setting us up for a really good day," said third-year head coach Luke Bennett. "But for the second tournament in a row we trouble carrying that success over to the final 18 holes. We talked about it as a team and we're going to focus on the positives from the first 18 holes and get after it tomorrow. Nothing came easy in the afternoon for us."
